While one sale closed on time, the other faced unexpected challenges when a newly reported mortgage on the buyer’s credit report caused the deal to fall through. This experience fueled my determination to understand the mortgage industry, leading me to become a loan officer. In this role, I gained valuable insight into lending practices, financing hurdles, and how buyers can position themselves for successful homeownership.

Over the past two decades, I have weathered market fluctuations, including the 2009 housing crisis, when property values plummeted and many homeowners found themselves underwater. I have also navigated the evolving market conditions of today, including purchasing a new primary residence in 2024 amid higher home prices and rising interest rates. As a seasoned landlord of 15+ years, I understand the complexities of property management, tenant relations, and long-term wealth building through real estate.
